Planned Gift to Enhance Technology Innovation at Barry University

Edward Levine and Lydia Marie DanteTwo Barry alumni made a planned gift to Barry University to benefit students seeking technology degrees.

Computer education graduate Edward C. Levine ’87 and his wife, Lydia Marie Dante, MBA ’82 and MPA ’90, gave $207,000 to Barry to provide scholarships to students.

This generous donation from the Dante-Levine revocable trust will support Barry’s commitment to innovative technology, assist in helping enhance existing programs in mathematics and computer science, and provide opportunities to allow students to master essential skills for the digital age.

A commemorative memorial plaque will also be placed in the Computer Department to acknowledge the couple’s gift.
